KeePass XML export

Steps

    KeePass 2.x: File › Export › KeePass XML (2.x). KeePassXC: Database › Export › XML.

    Save the .xml somewhere temporary — it is unencrypted.

    Import in 8PWD; the KeePass 2 (XML) template keeps your group tree as folders.

What ends up where

Title → name; UserName → username; Password → password; URL → URL; Notes → notes; groups → folders; otp / TOTP strings → two-factor code.

After the import

Check a few entries, turn on AutoFill for 8PWD, and delete the export file from wherever you saved it — it is plain text.
