Switching to 8PWD

1PUX / 1PIF / CSV export

Steps

    1Password 8 (Mac): File › Export › [account] › choose 1PUX or CSV. 1Password 7: export 1PIF.

  2. 2

    Enter your account password to confirm and save the file. Unzip a .1pux first — the export.data file inside is what 8PWD reads.

  3. 3

    Import in 8PWD with the 1Password (1pif/JSON) template, or CSV with the generic CSV mapping.

What ends up where

title → name; username → username; password → password; urls → URL; notesPlain → notes; TOTP fields → two-factor code.

After the import

Check a few entries, turn on AutoFill for 8PWD, and delete the export file from wherever you saved it — it is plain text.
