Switching to 8PWD

Steps

    Dashlane web app: My account › Settings › Export data › Export to CSV. The download is a zip archive.

  2. 2

    Unzip it and locate credentials.csv.

  3. 3

    Import that file in 8PWD; the Dashlane template handles the extra username columns.

What ends up where

title → name; username (and username2/3) → username; password → password; url → URL; note → notes; otpSecret → two-factor code.

After the import

Check a few entries, turn on AutoFill for 8PWD, and delete the export file from wherever you saved it — it is plain text.
