Switching to 8PWD

Proton Pass → 8PWD

Settings › Export › CSV

Steps

    Proton Pass (browser extension or web): Settings › Export, choose CSV, confirm with your password.

  2. 2

    Import the file in 8PWD with the Proton Pass template.

What ends up where

name → name; username / email → username; password → password; url → URL; note → notes; totp → two-factor code; vault → folder.

After the import

Check a few entries, turn on AutoFill for 8PWD, and delete the export file from wherever you saved it — it is plain text.
