CSV or JSON from the web vault

Steps

    In the Bitwarden web vault: Tools › Export vault. Choose .csv (simplest) or unencrypted .json. Encrypted JSON exports are not importable — they can only be read by Bitwarden.

    Confirm with your master password and download the file.

  3. 3

    Import it in 8PWD; the Bitwarden template maps folders, logins, URLs, notes and TOTP.

What ends up where

name → name; login_username → username; login_password → password; login_uri → URL; folder → folder; notes → notes; login_totp → two-factor code.

After the import

Secure notes become accounts with a notes field. Cards and identities are not imported.
