Switching to 8PWD

Account › Advanced Options › Export

Steps

    In the LastPass web vault: Account › Advanced Options › Export, or in the browser extension Account Options › Advanced › Export.

    Confirm with your master password. Some versions show the CSV as text in the browser — save it as lastpass.csv.

  3. 3

    Import in 8PWD; the LastPass template maps grouping to folders.

What ends up where

name → name; username → username; password → password; url → URL; extra → notes; grouping → folder; totp → two-factor code where present.

After the import

Check a few entries, turn on AutoFill for 8PWD, and delete the export file from wherever you saved it — it is plain text.
