Boilerplate
8PWD 2026 is an offline password manager for iPhone, iPad and Mac. It has no account, no sync and no server — the app contains no networking code of its own. A vault is ready ten seconds after install, encrypted on device with AES-256-GCM under a key only the user holds; logins are filled through system AutoFill; two-factor codes are generated locally; backups are files the user keeps. Pro is paid once.
8PWD 2026, by MNV LIMITED, is a password manager built on one decision: the app contains no networking code. There is no account to create, nothing syncs, and no server exists on the company's side; the only network activity is Apple's own StoreKit handling the optional Pro purchase. Each device keeps its own vault, encrypted with AES-256-GCM under a key generated on that device; an optional master password (600,000 rounds of PBKDF2) and a 12-word recovery phrase let the same vault open on a new device — the company holds none of them. Setup is three screens and one tap; no password has to be invented on day one. The app fills logins through system AutoFill on iPhone, iPad and Mac, generates TOTP two-factor codes, stores passkeys, bank cards and identities on the device, stores Wi-Fi passwords as scannable QR codes, grades the vault from A to J with a monthly trend and a one-tap check-up (leaked passwords are checked against a million bundled offline), bundles an account deletion guide for 2,100+ websites, and lets one person keep a family's passwords apart with local “members”. Moving between devices is an encrypted .8pwd file the user carries, or a one-time AirDrop transfer with a merge wizard. The free plan stores ten records with every feature; 8PWD 2026 Pro lifts the limit — a one-time Lifetime purchase with Family Sharing, or a yearly or monthly subscription — and one purchase covers all three platforms. The app speaks thirteen languages.
